  • Compilation of estimates of quarterly national accounts aggregates such as GDP and for analyzing the structure of the business sector in Abu Dhabi.
  • Providing the data necessary for the preparation of GDP estimates by economic activity.
  • Providing the data necessary to support policy and economic decision-making in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and measure the performance of these policies.
  • Providing the data necessary for entrepreneurs and investors to make appropriate business decisions and to evaluate their investment decisions.
  • A strong base of statistical data for the overall economy in the emirate.
  • The provision of data necessary to estimate the extent of economic diversification and development in non-oil sectors in the emirate.

  • The Quarterly Economic Survey is one of SCAD’s major undertakings to gather regular economic statistics essential to the Government of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to enable informed economic policy decisions.
  • The Quarterly Economic Survey aims to measure the structure and performance sectors of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi’s economy and provide a picture of current economic developments that is timelier than that provided by the Annual National Accounts.
